In Madagascar's arid lands, ring-tailed lemur packs must fight hard for territory and food. Without a pack, individuals simply could not make it. This episode follows two mothers that are driven out of their pack. They get no respite as they are forced to sneak into foreign ground and steal to subsist. Filmed over a period of four years, the crew captures the pair as they eventually launch an offensive against a rival pack that far outnumbers them, a dramatic life or death battle for territory and survival.
