Synopsis
A great hunter catches invisible prey

Canada's wintery Manitoba province has become the kingdom of one of the world's most skillful hunters. Great gray owls patrol the region's snow covered fields on the hunt for rodent prey.
To survive in their extreme environment, the winged predators have taken to catching prey that is invisible to others. Equipped with extraordinarily sensitive ears, great gray owls can detect tiny rodents moving under 40cm of snow. Raising the next generation of the iconic birds is perhaps the great gray owl's greatest challenge. Demanding chicks can triple in weight in just five days and require a constant stream of food. Once the owlets fledge, they face a race against time to hone their hunting skills before Manitoba's bitter winter takes grip.
