Synopsis
Various species of birds flock to the Greek islands in the Aegean Sea in the autumn. These migratory birds use the islands as stopping points on their journey from Europe to the African continent. During this season Eleonora's falcons come to these islands to hunt for these birds. For efficiency's sake, the falcons form colonies to hunt for prey along the cliffs and above the sea. Autumn is their breeding season. They catch migratory birds to feed their chicks. Protecting their young from common buzzards, crows and other natural enemies, the falcons raise their chicks and before long, migrate with them to their wintering spots in Madagascar. Amazing Hunters of the Aegean follows the behavior of Eleonora's falcons as they hunt in collaboration with each other and raise their young.
