Journey to Revealing Pluto

In July 2015, after a 10-year-long journey, NASA's New Horizons became the first spacecraft to fly by Pluto, in the farthest reaches of the solar system. Tall icy mountains, mysterious ice flowing across the planet, a large "heart" shape on the surface: Such images of Pluto in high-resolution never-before-seen were sent back to earth from New Horizons.
This episode highlights the passion of the scientists and the "secret society" behind the success of this expedition. Explore the mystery of Pluto's nitrogen atmosphere, and get close to Charon, the very unique largest moon of this faraway planet.
