With a wingspan of 2.5 meters and weighing an incredible 8 kilograms, the Steller's sea eagle is the world's largest eagle. They're found in the Sakhalin region of eastern Russia. There are only 6,000 of these majestic birds remaining. Rare footage of Steller's sea eagles rearing their chicks was captured. The details of their dynamic fishing expeditions, the building and repairing of their gigantic nests, how their chicks thrive and the poignant day of their leaving the nest are recorded.
