Synopsis
Video games have become a huge worldwide industry, and the competition is fierce. In the United States, the world's biggest market, big-name Hollywood movie directors are producing epic-scale video games. To counter this, in Japan world-famous anime production company Studio Ghibli is turning its hand to video game development, creating a new interactive world in animation. In the US, Japan, Canada, France, and Russia, the program looks at the frontlines and future of rapidly advancing video game development that now even applies cutting-edge science and the latest military technology.
